Extending the opening of a Kitchen/Diner in Longwell Green

The client required the opening between the kitchen and diner to be extended and made bigger. The main reason they wanted this completed was because they felt with the existing opening it blocked a large amount of light from travelling through which then gave the illusion that the room felt smaller than it actually was. With the new opening we made it as big as possible while still making the pillars a size which met building regulations and were adequate enough to hold the weight above.
